First Responders & Healthcare Workers

As a first responder or healthcare worker, the mental and emotional toll of trauma can lead to burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma.

At Finding Solutions Together, we offer specialized trauma therapy tailored to your unique challenges. We utilize evidence-based approaches like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help process distressing memories, reduce PTSD symptoms, and build emotional resilience.

We also draw upon trauma-informed CBT, cognitive behavioural training to assist people with the development of more balanced and encouraging narratives about themselves and the world.

Our goal is to help you rebuild strength, maintain emotional balance, and prevent burnout so you can continue serving your community with the care you deserve.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Your Questions, Answered.

How do I know if I need therapy as a first responder or healthcare worker?
If you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally numb, on edge, or just “not yourself”, these are strong signs that you may need support. If difficult calls or experiences are sticking with you, showing up as intrusive thoughts, irritability, or avoidance, talking to someone can empower you with tools needed to maintain your mental and emotional strength. If it is impacting your wellbeing, relationships, or ability to function as your best self, you deserve support.
