AREAS OF FOCUS

Supporting Children & Youth in School and Life

I strive to provide clinically grounded counselling for children and youth (8+) to address emotional, behavioural, and social challenges that affect functioning at school and in daily life. My work targets areas such as anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, peer relationships, self-esteem, and family transitions. Using evidence-based interventions, I help students develop effective coping strategies, strengthen emotional resilience, and build the confidence needed to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.

Counselling for Neurodiverse Populations

I provide neurodiversity-informed, evidence-based counselling for individuals, including those with ASD Level 1 and ADHD within a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. My approach builds on each client’s inherent strengths and unique ways of experiencing the world while supporting growth in areas such as emotional regulation, social communication, and adaptive problem-solving. I collaborate with individuals and families to reduce stress, strengthen confidence, and promote meaningful engagement across home, school, and community settings.

Trauma, Addiction & Resilience

I take a trauma-centered approach that helps clients safely process painful experiences, understand their impact on the body and mind, and rebuild a sense of control and connection. Integrating EMDR, somatic, and attachment-focused strategies, I support healing from the roots of trauma that often drive addiction and other coping behaviours. My goal is to foster resilience, emotional balance, and self-compassion to support lasting recovery and growth.

Navigating Transitions & Relationship Challenges

I support individuals experiencing significant life transitions such as career shifts, family changes, and evolving roles or identities. I also work with clients navigating relationship challenges, including communication difficulties, conflict, and disconnection. My clinical focus is on strengthening resilience, improving relational patterns, and fostering emotional adaptability through evidence-based strategies that promote lasting growth and well-being.
