AREAS OF FOCUS

Anxiety & Depression

I have supported individuals in counselling for over 10 years. I support them in reducing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, disordered eating behaviours and suicide ideation. I also assist people in healing from trauma, life stressors and grief.

Relationship Health & Connection

I have worked with varying levels of committed couples for over 10 years. I support couples in improving communication, reconnecting emotionally and physically and negotiating stressful areas of life such as parenting.

Parents with Young Families
I have several years of experience working with new parents and their children. I help new parents navigate their way through the many changes of identity, romantic and family relationships, roles and body image. Together, we find a way to adjust to the differing age and stage of your family so you can feel positively connected to yourself and family.
Trauma

I use evidence-based therapy models such as EMDR, Emotion Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems to help clients heal and feel more present and connected to themselves, their emotions, and their relationships.

Sex Therapy

I support clients by providing a safe and open space to explore their sexual concerns, experiences, and identities without judgment. My approach to sex therapy helps individuals and couples improve communication, deepen intimacy, and address challenges such as desire differences, sexual pain, or past trauma. I believe that sexual wellness is an important part of overall well-being, and I work collaboratively with clients to foster confidence, connection, and a more fulfilling sexual life.

Supervision

I am accepting students and registered psychotherapists (qualifying) for supervised practice. In supervision, we will balance directing your work and skills with your clients while also assisting you to explore and resolve how this work impacts yourself.
