AREAS OF FOCUS

Depression & Anxiety

I provide evidence-based care for depression and anxiety using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These strategies help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, reconnect with your values, and develop tools to manage distress in your daily life. I will help you build practical skills to reduce symptoms and improve daily functioning.

Life Transitions & Identity Exploration

I support individuals navigating life transitions and periods of identity exploration using narrative therapy, person-centred approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Whether you’re starting a new job, retiring, or figuring out who you are in a changing season of life, I can help you find clarity and direction. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you to help you move forward with confidence and self-understanding.

d/Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing, Hearing Loss

I provide accessible, high-quality mental health care tailored to the unique experiences of d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. Whether you’re managing a mental health diagnosis and need accessible care, or seeking support in navigating life with hearing loss, I offer therapy that respects your communication needs. As a Deaf therapist with a master’s degree from the world’s only Deaf university, I bring clinical expertise and personal insight to ensure your care is effective, compassionate, and affirming.

Self-Harm & Suicidal Thoughts
I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals experiencing self-harm or suicidal thoughts to feel seen, supported, and understood. Drawing on approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and safety planning, we work together to reduce harm, manage intense emotions, and build coping strategies that help to foster hope and connection. I aim to support you in moving from survival to a place of stability and self-compassion.
Borderline Personality Disorder
I offer specialized support for individuals living with Borderline Personality Disorder using the four pillars of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy – mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. With nearly a decade of experience working with and advocating for people with BPD, I provide an environment that emphasizes your strengths and capacity for meaningful change while providing skills and tools to help you navigate your everyday life.
